Produce: fruit or vegetables in bulk usually have one or more bad ones. One needs to inspect carefully.
If I were to make a recommendation, I would say the staff could receive more training in regard to customer relations and general product knowledge.
For a small town grocery store this one's pretty good. They don't stock all of items I need so I often have to go elsewhere. The entrance can become congested and you can get stuck in the a while if you don't get a little pushy.
Hygiene: The place is kept clean as best they can.
They do their best with the rest in a world accustomed to mediocrity.
I like the local feel of this store. I know it's part of Kroger, but it was started by Colorado people and still feels local.
City Market has been a quality experience, especially compared to many of the grocery chains on the east coast. This particular grocery store seems very well organized and maintained. They also have a really good selection of products.
People: Most everybody in the store is attentive, kind and helpful, very few times one runs into a sour person.
Would give no stars if possible! Unbelievably rude staff. I have never felt more uncomfortable and disrespected before.
Overall, wonderful shopping experience and extra props to the pharmacy - very kind staff.
